THE GRAND LODGE OF SLOVENIA

The Grand Lodge of Slovenia was established on 16th October 1999 by the Grand Lodge of Austria. At that time it included three Lodges:

Dialogus
Žiga Zois
Arcus

The Grand Lodge of Slovenia is regular and perfect. It is regular, because it was established by a regular Grand Lodge, the Grand Lodge of Austria. It is perfect because it includes at least three regular and perfect Lodges.

The Grand Lodge of Slovenia is regular also because it complies with all conditions of regularity that are requested by the Grand Lodge of England and that are respected by all Regular Grand Lodges in the world. Formaly the regularity is supported by the fact that the Grand Lodge of England recognizes the Grand Lodge of Slovenia.

The Grand Lodge of Slovenia is independent. It cooperates with other Grand Lodges and masonic bodies on equal basis.

The Grand Lodge of Slovenia cooperates with two Masonic Orders of higher degrees, active in Slovenia:

Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry
The Order of the Royal Arch
.

The Grand Lodge obeys its written rules - the Constitution, which regulates the work and the relations of the freemasons in their brotherhood, in particular with respect to Masonic principles and values.

In the formal sense the Grand Lodge is registred as an ascociation according to the Slovene Law on associations. As an association it has written statute, that regulates legal and other 'practical' aspects of the association.
